Enterprise Resourse Planning Softwares

As a ERP Platform and Application vendor , we would like to explain more on the scope of the enterprise resource planning softwares. Basically enterprises have a common thinking that the ERP software can only be implemented by the big companies or a multinational companies. Actually we have a happy news for those guys who are very disappointed from the common above mentioned phrases in the market. ERP or EMS is not just meant for the large production based firms, it's scope well cover even the small scale industries but in a different perspective.  

So who is wrong? ERP vendors or Enterprises! Actually no one is wrong. This Post we "Team Endasys"  would like to share some of our client feedbacks about the ERP solutions and thus we can answer the question , Who is wrong and what is wrong.

The Traditional ERP vendors who are developing the softwares in the very traditional way of manufacturing softwares using coding methodology(Consuming few months or years) they place there work in-front of the clients as "Rocket Science " and trying to mislead the clients with a mentality that they are going to have a software which can bring a dramatic change in the way of there business. My first question whether they can do this or not? They charge very high prices and there maintenance package is also too high. So to convince this pricing they are using some magical offers and give expections to the clients and leave a question back to them "ARE YOU BIG ENOUGH TO HAVE OUR SOLUTIONS?". This is where we found the first correction to be done. 

According to endasys, a back end software (ERP) should be able to support the client requirements and not wise-versa. Enterprises regardless of there size they just see the software firm (how big is there solution and how well known are them) and purchase the software. Later it becomes like the wise-versa of the old proverb, " the ant inside the elephant mouth " eventually they collapse. why this thing happen?

1) Is not because the ERP system is bad, Is because the ERP size that the firm choose for them was not suitable for them.

2) The way each and every company works are different. So a software that has been successfully used by one firm can't show up the same result for a different firm.

So what is  the solution ?

A centralized system which is customized and build to requirement software can be a perfect solution for all the industry. 

Here comes the other big issue. THE COST We started to ask to our self how to bring down the cost of developing a customized ERP softwares. The solution is to cutdown the coding part of the development.

That was a challenging conclusion. How to make a software with out performing the coding?
